Alrighty...

So, this blog is going to be the expression of my potentially unhealthy obsession with quality beer. Granted, I am no expert on the subject, but the passion exists nonetheless, so I am going to start documenting my beer geek adventures for the "world" to see (world in this case amounts to the 10 or so people I send this link to). Anywho, though I have probably started this a bit late in the timeline of my new hobby, I will do my best to document my experiences in the hopes that I can convert a few of those near and dear to me into the amazing world of craft and Belgian/Belgian-inspired brews. This endeavor is admittedly very self-fulfilling, but hopefully it will help inform those who are looking to indulge in a few off the beaten path beers.

As we are smack dab in the middle of the holidays, tis the season for imperial stouts and holiday brews. As such, my first non-introductory post will deal mostly with beers of this ilk. Until then, I have a 40 oz. of Mickey's Malt liquor to finish, good night now.
